The Sydeny Opera House is a multi venue performing arts center in Bennelong Point, Sydney, Australia. It is one of the 20th century’s most famous and distinctive buildings.It was formally opened by Elizabeth||, Queen of Australia on 20 October 1973. In 2007 it became a UNESCO World Heritage dite. It designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzon . The building and its surrounds occupy the whole of Benneloing Point in Sydney Harbour between Sydney Cove and Farm Cove , adjacent business district and the Royal Botanic Gardens and close by the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The building covers 4.4 acres of land and 183 metres long and 120 metres wide. The Sydeny Opera House includes Concert Hall with 2679 seats,Joan Sutherland Theatre with 1507 seats, Drama Theatre with 544 seats, Playhouse with 398 seats, Studio with 280 permanent seats and maximum capacity of 400,Utzon Room, Recording studio, Outdoor Forecourt, Cafes,Restaurants , Bars and retail outlets.
