Laddo Recipe

Laddo is another delicious foods of Bangladesh

Laddo is one of the most delicious desert of all generation. It’s making way is very simple. Here is some recipe.

1. Bondia laddo

Indian people called it Matichor Laddo.

PC: Sultana Sadia


Pea-flour 2 cup

Water 1 cup

Oil as needed

Chestnut 2 teaspoon

Cardamom powder 2 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Making sugar syrup

Sugar 3 cup

Water 2 cup


First make syrup by sugar & water on stove.

Now mix water & pea- flour in a pan. Take a bolter with a big handle. Then take mixture on this bolter and keep slowly on hot oil. Now fry it on low flame until golden. Finally mix chestnut chopped and cardamom powder. Then add keep it on sugar syrup.

You can use almond and raisins for garnishing.

2. Mung Bean Laddu

PC: Mita Sultana


Mung bean 1 cup

Sugar 1 cup

Ghee 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

Almond as needed

Salt to taste


At first bean will be fried and makes it powder.

Heat ghee in a pan and fry almond and keep aside.

Now all ingredients add on ghee and makes a thick paste. Now remove from heat and makes various shape for laddo.

3. Carrot Laddo

PC: Arif Ctg


Carrot 1 kg

Sugar 1/2 kg

Ghee 500 gm

Cardamom & Cinnamon 10-12

Maowa 1/2 cup

Salt to taste


Carrot washed well. Then makes it finely great. Now heat ghee in a pan , then add carrot, cardamom and cinnamon. When it will be thick then remove from heat and add maowa great. Now created a shape as you like.

4. Sesame Laddo

PC: Collect from Fb


Sesame 500 gm

Molasses 500 gm

Ghee 2 cup

Salt to taste


First sesame will be fried and peel out.

Now heat a pan on stove and molasses will be melt. At the same time add sesame and shake-up it. When it will be thick then remove from heat.

Now heat ghee in an another pan and mix sesame.

Now creat a shape as your choice.

5. Coconut Laddo

Coconut 2 cups
Sugar half cup

 2 tablespoons of ghee

Cardamom powder teaspoon of sugar

Put all the ingredients in the stove except for ghee.

Sugar must be dry and dry with glue and keep stirring with ghee.
If you are ready, then make a round goal.

6. Sweet Potato Laddo


Sweet potato 300 g

2 tablespoons  butter

2 tablespoons  ground powder

1 cup liquid milk

One-third of one cup of oil

Sugar half cup

Ghee 1 table-spoon

Bay leaf 2 piece

3 pieces of cardamom

3 pieces of cinnamon.

Boil the sour cream and clean the top skin. Cut into pieces, add milk and half cup water to blender.

Heat the oil in the nonstick pan and stir it with the hot spices (cardamom, bay leaf, cinnamon). If the smell of hot spicy spreads, then stir again with a mixture of sweet potato.

Then stir with powdered sugar and butter. Take 5-6 minutes to cook sugar. Sweet potatoes are very easy to move in the pan so it will be stirred quite frequently. When you see that the oil has moved up, keep stirring it with more ghee. Take off for a while. Let it be cold.

When it will be  cold, make the rounds of oil in the hands of the spine and make the size of the laddoos. Serve this fun sweet laddu. But after 2-3 hours of freeze it will be better.

7. Semolina Laddo


Semolina 1 cup

A little less than 1 cup of sugar

1 egg

2 cups of milk

4 teaspoons of ghee

Salt to taste

2 piece of cinnamon

1 piece of cinnamon

Nuts and raisins to taste.


Soak dry and dry it. Keep the frying separately.

Mix all the ingredients without color and nuts, raisins. If the pan is hot, then keep stirring constantly with the mixture. When it blows, it will be dense.

Get out of the pan and take it out of the pan and take it down. Mix the remaining ingredients. 

Now makes shape as you choice.

8.Maowa Bundia Jafrani(Saffron) Laddo


Bundia 2 cups

Chana 1-4 cups

Crushed milk 2 tablespoons

Ghee 1 table spoon

Sugar 2 tablespoons

Mawa 2 tablespoons

Cream flavored 1-4 teaspoons

 For ceramic –

3 cups of sugar

1 cup of water

Saffron a bit

For Bundia

Pea- flour 1 cup

1/2 cup of water

1-4 teaspoons of baking powder

Oil for frying


To make bundia first, keep all the ingredients together and keep them for 10 minutes. The mixture will be heated to the oil after the oil is heated.
When light becomes fried, the sugar syrup should be repeated for 10 minutes. Then there will be some saffron.

Now the bundia will be broken and mixed with chana and sugar to be kept in the stove for a little while.

When the mixture becomes cold, serve milk and mawa and cream flavors to make a gooseberry and serve them delicious mawa bundiya jafrani(saffron) ladoo.

9. Egg-Carrot Laddo


Carrots (1 cup)

Eggs (3)

Sugar (1 cup)

Powder milk half cup

Oil + ghee (half cup)

Keora water (1 teaspoon)

Cinnamon (1 piece) Amal (2 T)

Method: –

Grate the carrots, sugar, powdered milk and eggs together. Now heat a nonstick pan + ghee and mix it with a mixture of carrots. Add it to cinnamon and cardamom. Due to frequent stirring so that the pan does not fall under the floor. If the mixture is solid, give it a little water. Leave the nonstick pans on the mixture and let it cool down for a moment. If you’re a bit cold, make cats. Serve on top with almonds or foil. Fun duck carrots.

10. Rice Laddo


Sugar canned rice -1 / 2 cups
False color -1 teaspoon
Ghee -1 / 2 cup
Sugar-2 tea
Condonesd milk-1/2 tin
Orange juice -1 / 2 cups
Milk powder-2 teaspoon
Cinnamon 1-2 piece

A little bit of cardamom powder
Rose water – one or two drops
Paste nuts for some laddoo mixture and for sorting


First make 2 cups of pure water and 4/5 m with a little salt and let it cool down the water. Then put a pot on the stove and ghee it, cook it with cooked rice and cook it some time after adding milk and rosemary water, you will need to shake it with the rest of the ingredients, and after mixing the mixture, it is necessary to understand that it is absolutely right for laddu. Finally, with milk, nuts and rose water, you can cut down on the stove and makes laddo shape.

11.Palm Laddo


Take two palms of palanquin, 1 coconut must be chopped. Once in the non-veg pan, add 1 teaspoon of gravy and fry it with hot biscuits, 2 cups of pomegranate and coconut powder, with enough sugar to taste, Spoon mawa beans,chestnut chopped, curry leaves, add glue to make some laddoo and can be done without some mawa.

12. 3 Steps vegetables Laddo


Carrot chopped 1 cup

Cabbage chopped 1 cup

Pumpkin chopped 1 cup

Sugar to taste

Maowa 1/2 cup

Condensed milk 1/2 cup

Powder milk 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

Ghee 1 cup


All vegetables will be cooked on sugar syrup but it done  separately. When it will sticky then add ghee, cardamom powder, maowa powder, condensed milk and milk powder. Remove from heat and makes laddo shape.

13. Coconut Kodom Laddo


Grated coconut 5 cup

Condensed milk 1 and 1/2 tin

Cardamom powder to taste

Sugar ball as needed


First take a pan and keep grated coconut on this  and Fri it on low medium heat until dry. Then add condensed milk slowly and move continuously. Now add cardamom powder. When it will be dried and coconut will be  oily then remove from heat. Now makes laddo shape and mix with sugar ball.

Now ready this laddo.

14. Carrot Laddo-2


Grated carrot 1 kg

Ghee 1 cup

Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

Milk powder 1 cup

Liquid milk ( thick) 1 litter

2 Bay leaf

4/5 Cardamom

2 Cinnamon


Take a pan on stove and add 1/3 ghee. Then add bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon. When it smelt then add grated carrot. Add liquid milk and cook  for sometime. Add sugar and cook again. When it looks like an impaste then add milk powder, cardamom powder and finally ghee.

Then makes ladoo shape.

15. Sago Laddo


Sago 2 cup

Water 1 cup

Sugar 1 cup

Milk powder 1 cup


Food color ( green, yellow or your choice)

Ghee 4 tabspoon


At first Sagu grains will be kept in the water whole night. Now take a pan and add ghee. Then add sagu grains and move on low medium heat. You can try this process about 20/25 minutes until boiled. Add sugar .

When sugar will be melt then add milk powder and mixed it well. Now makes laddo shape and makes different color .

16. Spicy Laddo


Fried rice powder 1 cup

Puffed rice powder 1/2 cup

Molasses 4 tabspoon

Red chili & cumin powder 1 tabspoon

Ginger juice 1 tabspoon

Bell pepper powder 1 teaspoon

Salt 1 teaspoon

Ghee 2 tabspoon

Water 4 tabspoon

2 Bay leaf

Cloves 2-3


Heat ghee in a pan and add  bay leaf, cloves and . Now add  molasses, water and ginger juice and heat on low medium heat.

Now in another pan,add fried rice powder, puffed rice powder, salt,cumin powder and chili powderand mix well.

Then remove from heat. Now makes laddo shape.

17. Chickpea Laddo


Chickpea paste 1 cup

Ghee 1/2 cup

Sugar 1 cup

Maowa 3/4 cup

Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

Pistachio for garnishing

Milk 1/2 kg


First washed well and then soaked for 5-6 hours. Now mix with milk and boiled it, then blend.

Now heat ghee in a pan and add chickpea paste. Fried well. Adding sugar slowly and moves in. When it comes dry then add maowa. After that when it will be thick then add cardamom powder and ghee. Now remove from heat.

18. Rice Pumpkin Laddo

1 cup ripe rice pumpkin

Sugar 2 cups

Bay leaves

Cardamom, cinnamon 1 piece of

Kawora water for tea spoon


Cook 2 cups of water in a saucepan and cook rice for 5 minutes. Then heat the pan in the pan and stir the hot spices and boiled rice pumpkin seeds. Now sugar must be cooked. When the sugar melts become glue, let it cool down with aqua water and serve it with a lump of hand and serve with nuts. Funny rice pumpkin laddo.

19. Fried rice with Coconut Laddo


Grated coconut 1 cup

Fried rice (half broken) 1 cup

Molasses 3/4 cup

Cardamom powder 1 pince

Salt to taste


Mix all ingredients except salt and fry on stove on low medium heat. When it will be sticky then add salt and remove from heat and makes laddo shape.

20. Coconut Laddo-2


Grated coconut 2 cup

Sugar 1/2 cup

Ghee 2 tabspoon

Cardamom powder a pinch


Take a pan and add coconut, sugar,cardamom powder and heat on low medium flame. When it will be sticky then add ghee. After that divided it 2:1 part and mix fruit color in 1 part. Then makes laddo shape.

21. Chocolate Milk Laddo


Coco powder 1 cup

Milk powder 1/2 cup

Sugar 1/2 cup

Butter 1/2 cup

Almond & Dry fruits for garnishing


Take a pan and add butter and sugar. Heat on low medium flame. When it will be melt then add milk powder . Then add coco powder and mix well. Then remove from heat and makes laddo shape.

Add almond and dry fruits for garnishing.

22. Vermicelli (Semai) Laddo

Basically it’s an Arabian process.


Vermicelli (Broken) 2 cup

Condensed milk 1/2 cup + tabspoon


First vermicelli fried in a pan on low medium flame for 7-8 minutes. Now remove from heat and kkeep on a bowl. Then add condensed milk and mix well. Now makes laddo shape.

23.  Mix Dri fruits Laddo


Dried dates 1 cup ( without seeds)

Chestnut 1/3 cup

Almond 1/3 cup

Pistachio 1/3 cup

Peanut 1/4 cup

Raisins 3 tabspoon

Ghee 1 tabspoon

Cardamom powder 1/3 teaspoon


Take all ingredients and grained it.

Now heat ghee in a pan and add almond and raisins and heat on low medium flame. Now mix dates. Mix well. Add cardamom powder before remove from heat. Now makes laddo shape.

24. Chana (Curd)Laddo


Chana 1/2  cup

Sugar 1/2 cup

Milk powder 3/4 cup

Vanilla 2-3  drops

Water 1/2 cup

Nut  paste 1/4 cup

Food color ( yellow) a pinch

Raisins 1-2 teaspoon


Firstly curd mix well and makes sugar syrup. When it will be thick then add food color and curd and mix well. Finally add vanilla, raisins, milk powder and nut paste. When it will be thick then remove from heat and makes laddo shape.
