Food : Buttermilk Fried Chicken


Chicken 1 kg

Buttermilk  2 cups

All purpose flour  2 cups

Ground black pepper 1 teaspoon

Extra virgin olive oil 1 cup

Salt to taste


At first combine chicken and buttermilk in a bowl and mix well. Place the mixture inside the fried and marinade overnight. Add flour, salt and ground black pepper and mix well. The marinade chicken in the flour mixture then set aside.

Heat oil a pan . Then fry the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes and transfer the semi-fried chicken in a baking tray. Now preheat the oven to 400°F and bake the semi-fried chicken for 30 minutes then reduce the heat and continue baking for 15 to 18 minutes. Then turn off oven and transfer the chicken to a serving dish.
