Food : Bhapa Fish

Ilish is national fish of Bangladesh. It is most favourite fish in Indian subcontinent.  It cooks in various ways. Bhapa Ilish  is most perfect for white rice.

Ingredients

Hilsha fish 4 pieces

Mustard seeds 1 tablespoon

Yogurt 1 teaspoon

Fresh coconut (grated )1 tablespoon

Green chilies 1 or 2

Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon

Mustard oil 1 tablespoon

Coriander leaves ( chopped) 1 teaspoon

Method

Firstly grind the mustard seeds with the green chilies and turmeric powder to a smooth paste and keep aside. Now mix the fish with all ingredients. Put this mixture into a pan . Pour little water at the bottom of a pressure cooker. Place this pan in it and close the pressure cooker without the vent. Now heat for 10 minutes on high flame and then for 5 to 6 minutes on low flame. Now it ready.
