Chicken shashlik recipe according to Bengali cuisine. But Chicken shashlik is a great way to kick your chicken tikka up a big notch.
500 gm chicken without bone (cut into cubes)
2 green capsicum
Ginger paste 1 teaspoon
Garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice 1 tabspoon
Chili powder 1 teaspoon
150 gm of sour yogurt
Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
Fried cumin powder 1 teaspoon
Fried coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Chaat masala 1 teasppon
Kasri Fenugreek 1/2 teaspoon
50 gm of cream
Flour 3 tabspoon
Oil 2 tabspoon
Salt to taste
At First, mix the chicken with lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, round pepper powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chaat masala and sour yogurt.
After mixing, keep it for 1 hour to marinate.
Now cut the capsicum, onion, tomatoes squarely.
Then mix the vegetables with the marinated chicken for 5 minutes.
Now add the meat, onions, tomatoes, capsicum one by one in the shashlik sticks.
If you want to use wooden sticks, must be soak the sticks in water for half an hour. As a result it will not burn.
Now, in a grill pan or tandoori pan, place the sticks. Cover it and Wait for 10 minutes. After that remove from heat.
Now it is ready to serve.
You can use non stick pan instead of grill pan. For this, you need to heat it with a little butter, ghee or oil. When it gets hot, you have to give it with Chicken shashlik .
