Cauliflour fried recipe from Bengali cuisine

Cauluflower is the most favourite vegetables in all. Basically we used it as curry. But it also used in various ways, such as fried, roasted etc. Cauliflower fried is most delicious in everyone.

1. Fried Cauliflower

1 Cauliflower (medium size )
Beef or chicken kima 1 and 1/2 cup
Ginger paste   1 teaspoon
Garlic paste   1/2 teaspoon
Cumin paste   1/2  teaspoon
Black pepper powder  1 teaspoon
Hot spice powder  1 teaspoon
Tomato sauce  2 tabspoon

Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
Cheese chopped 1/4 cup
Chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Soybean oil  1 tabspoon
Popy seeds paste  1 tabspoon
Soy sauce   1 tabspoon
Cornflower 1 tabspoon
Oil for frying

Put the stems of cauliflower and keep them out of water by boiling for 5-6 minutes. Take 1 tabspoon of oil, cumin paste, garlic paste, ginger paste, salt, soy sauce, tomato sauce, lemon juice, cheese chopped and cornflower.

Fill the kima in the cauliflower. Be careful, do not break the cauliflower. Now heat the oil in a  pan and fry it on deep oil.

Serve hot.

2. Sweet and Sour Cauliflower fried


1  Cauliflower
Ginger paste  1 teaspoon
Garlic paste   1 teaspoon
2 tablespoons of basil powder
Salt to taste
Tomato ketchup 2 tabspoons
Vinegar  1 tabspoon
Sugar  1/2 teaspoon
2 tablespoons of Sweet and Chili sauce


Cauliflower should be washed well. Then  should be given more water in the saucepan so that the cauliflower is sinking. This water should be mixed with ginger paste, garlic paste,  basil powder and Salt. When the water starts boiling, after sinking the cauliflower 4/5 minutes. Now the cauliflower will be boiled. Then takes it off from the oven.

Now, in a separate pan, add  tomato ketchup, vinegar , sweet and chili sauce, sugar and water with cauliflower . Then cook  for 2/3 minutes. Now you have to bake more 5/6 minutes to 150 degrees .

3. Cauliflower fried


Medium sized cauliflower 1

2 Egg

Testing salt 1/4 teaspoon

Cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon

Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

Chopped chilli 1/4 teaspoon

Hot spices masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

 Oil for deep frying

Salt  to taste


At first, cauliflower cut into 10/12 pieces. Then boil with   the mixture of  a little  salt  water.

Now in a bowl, beaten the egg, testing salt,cumin powder, turmeric powder, chili  powder, hot spices masala powder and a little amount of water.Mix well .

Now heat oil in a fry pan. The cauliflower pieces turn over on beaten eggs. Then fry until brown.
